I'm well-versed in light-to-heavy duties such as... diagnosing trouble codes, engine and transmission issues, most module and key programming, AC system diagnosis and recharging (R134a only), fluid replacement, routine and preventative maintenance, etc…
I don't cut corners, guess what part(s) you need, or recommend work or services that don't need to be done. Before replacing a part, I will absolutely confirm with 100% certainty that you need it by using the most up-to-date equipment, diagnostic methods, and manufacturer service information to ensure your vehicle is diagnosed and repaired right the first time.
My work includes an industry-standard 12-month/12,000-mile labor-only warranty on all work that I perform and a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with my work, or in the unlikely case a definitive diagnosis can't be determined, there is absolutely no charge!
I also provide DIYer assistance by either showing / teaching you how to make a repair or simply diagnosing your issue so you can make the repair yourself if you're mechanically inclined but lack diagnostic skills.
Pricing Info: I charge $65.00 per hour for normal diagnosis / repairs or $45.00 per hour for DIYer Assistance, and the price quote is guaranteed, even if it takes me longer than expected to finish the job. Payments can be made in cash or by personal check with a valid ID and are only required after the work is performed to your satisfaction.
Shift Rate: By requests from current customers, and to offer a more predictable, fixed price for a full day of work, I now offer a "Shift Rate" of $250. This is a fixed price and will not change regardless of the work needed or amount of vehicles being serviced. (For scheduling purposes, please mention this option when contacting me if interested.)
Please note: Due to the overwhelming amount of aggravation that inevitably occurs with repairing certain models, I don't work on Mercedes, BMW, Hybrids, Electric Vehicles, or Diesels.
